A three element 40m Hy-Gain Discoverer 40 m.

We just finished setting up a 3 el for 40 m on 20 m high lattice tower. The sloping terrain in all directions make it work like a champ.

Here is the frequency response measured with AIM 4170 C. As you see the SWR 2:1 bandwidht is very broad. The antenna is at 20 m height.

Pics from the asembly of the antenna. The wire truss is replaced with a much better Kevlar type of line namely Parafil (7 mm with a tensile streghth of 800 kg) with special end terminations.
